84. Mid-Level Analyst, Credit Opportunities Fund

A $20B+, NY-based alternatives fund that focuses on fundamental value-oriented research would like to add a Mid-Level Investment Analyst to their team for a career track opportunity. The team invests across opportunistic and performing credit strategies in industrial/infrastructure/cyclical companies. The Mid-Level Analyst will drive fundamental value-driven research and recommendations across a variety of strategies including performing, stressed and distressed bonds, leveraged loans, private debt, and private equity. The Mid-Level Analyst will work initially with the MD for Energy & Infrastructure, but a strong performer will shift to their own sector coverage within a few years, duplicating the career path of the team’s MD.

The strongest candidates have 2-3 years in an investment banking Analyst program plus 2-6 years of experience in private equity (roll-up experience would be a plus) or private debt. Candidates should think like investors with a willingness to look at a wide range of potential credit investments. Candidates should have outstanding quantitative and communications skills and the ability to work effectively with others on a collaborative team. An MBA is not required but would be desirable. This is a position with a career path which includes potential partnership. Base salary: $150-200,000 + bonus. Qualified candidates may forward a resume along with undergraduate GPA to our website. All inquiries will be treated confidentially.
