71. Managing Director, Middle Market Capital Solutions Credit Fund (LA Area)

Our client, an established and growing credit fund located near Los Angeles, is seeking a Managing Director with 10-15 years of experience to join their team. Our client provides non-sponsor, highly structured, asset based financing solutions to borrowers in need of liquidity or growth. The Managing Director will originate and manage the investment process day to day in collaboration with the CIO. Candidates must have demonstrated experience developing investment opportunities and leading the negotiation and execution of investments as well as monitoring and managing portfolio investments. The Managing Director will mentor junior staff and participate in all aspects of the fund’s investing activity. The strongest candidates will have a well-developed approach to investing and the ability to originate and drive a process. Candidates should have a strong fundamental analytical background, deep intellectual curiosity, creative problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively. Buyside investment experience in middle market credit capital solutions strategies is required. Candidates with LBO financing experience will not be considered.
