Our client provides innovative turnkey Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) solutions to major non-profit healthcare systems to promote a sustainable future. They are looking to add an Associate to their team to support the team’s ability to provide these services to more hospitals nationally. The team puts together partnerships with not-for-profit hospitals that balance the institutions’ key infrastructure objectives with their expertise, to create long term energy solutions. The Associate will apprentice the senior team, helping to source and drive the structuring of green and brownfield energy infrastructure programs, and collaborating across hospital and company leadership. The Associate will attend new business calls with senior team members, meet with senior finance professionals at target hospitals, and develop models and presentations that represent what the company can offer. Over time, the Associate will take on increasing responsibility for transactions and grow into a leadership role. It is fully remote but involves travel about 20-30% of the time. The team takes a can-do approach to work but respects a work life balance. The team has a full pipeline, and the company continues to experience steady growth creating long term career development opportunities.
The strongest candidates have 1-3 years in a Municipal Finance or Investment Banking Analyst program. Experience working with not-for-profit hospitals is a plus. Energy experience is not necessary. The team will also consider bankers who have received a direct promotion to Associate. The role requires strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, a detailed and organized approach to getting things done along with an amiable personality. The Associate needs to be able to work independently and in close coordination with the team. Candidates need outstanding communications skills and the ability to work well with others.
