Our client is a rapidly growing ($1.5B+ AUM) distressed credit fund manager with strong returns located in the Stamford area. They would like to add an Analyst to work directly with their highly regarded veteran investors. The fund focuses on a variety of strategies including cross capital structure, public credit, mispriced stressed credits, idiosyncratic situations, misunderstood performing credit, litigation and process-driven distressed and restructurings. The senior team has extensive experience mentoring and developing talent.
The strongest candidates have 3-5 years of experience including 1-2 years in a Banking Analyst program or similar position, preferably in Restructuring Advisory, Leveraged Finance or M&A plus another 1-2 years of experience in distressed or special situations public/private credit investing. They will also consider a 2022-23 MBA with directly relevant earlier experience. Candidates should have outstanding modeling and financial analysis skills, excellent critical reading ability, and a keen intellectual curiosity. Candidates must also communicate effectively.
