Senior Distressed Analyst, Multi-Strategy Fund – New
Our client, a $20 billion-plus credit fund in Midtown, would like to add an experienced distressed credit analyst to their team. The fund invests in stressed, distressed, illiquid and dislocated credit along with levered and post-reorg equity. This is a generalist role since sector assignments can vary over time and include one-off investments. The analyst will generate ideas, manage due diligence and analysis, and actively manage their names including participation in ad hoc creditor groups. Capital structure focus is mainly on larger cap names but may include some sub-$1billion opportunities.
The strongest candidates have 7-15 years of total work experience with at least five years of direct distressed investment experience. Candidates must be able to execute their own analytical work but also supervise and mentor junior resources, when available. The Analyst needs a deep network of contacts in the credit and distressed community and experience working with creditor committees. Because of the fund’s collaborative culture, the Analyst must be a team player. Qualified candidates may forward a resume to our website. All inquiries will be treated confidentially.
Please note: You only need to submit your resume once. You will be considered for all open positions. Do not submit your resume to other jobs after submitting once.
