Restructuring Vice President, Investment Banking – New
This independent investment banking firm would like to add a VP to their rapidly growing Restructuring Advisory business. Vice Presidents manage teams of associate and analysts, prepare and deliver client presentations, run client meetings and calls, perform valuation, debt capacity, liquidity and other restructuring analyses, evaluate business plans, participate in due diligence, design restructuring strategies and participate in negotiations, as well as working on strategic reviews and M&A with the firm’s sector teams. VPs mentor and develop the junior team, as well. VPs work closely with clients, group heads and senior staff, taking on increasing levels of responsibility. The VP may have 3-5 years of post-MBA restructuring experience or may have developed that experience as a non-MBA, direct-promote Associate and then VP. The Restructuring Group will also consider candidates with other relevant experience, such as restructuring consulting, sector-specific banking or distressed investing background, if there is some overlap in experience. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to lead and manage projects and junior staff. The VP should have strong corporate finance, accounting and valuation skills as well as time and organizational management skills. The team looks for an affable personality and a collaborative approach to work. Qualified candidates may forward a resume to our website. All inquiries will be treated confidentially.
Please note: You only need to submit your resume once. You will be considered for all open positions. Do not submit your resume to other jobs after submitting once.
