8. Restructuring/Finance Lawyer, Multi-Strategy Credit Fund

Our client, a $30 billion-plus credit fund in Midtown Manhattan, would like to add a Finance or Restructuring Attorney to their highly successful and collegial team. The fund manages a variety of strategies including long-only, long/short, CLO, opportunistic, distressed credit, and private debt. The fund engages in direct lending and is in a position to drive terms. The Attorney will work with the portfolio managers and analysts of each strategy reviewing credit documents, developing strategy, and negotiating terms. The lawyer will also work closely with restructuring professionals and will assist with in and out of-court restructurings and liability management. The Attorney will analyze litigation related to standalone issues or existing investments and potentially source relevant investment opportunities. The strongest candidates have 3-7 years of experience with a restructuring, credit, corporate finance, or leveraged finance team of a major law firm. The Attorney will report to a partner-attorney and will play an important role on the investing team. Salary range is $150,000 to $240,000.
