Mid-Level Analyst, Distressed Credit Fund – New
Our client, a multi-billion dollar distressed credit fund would like to add a mid-level analyst to their collegial and highly successful team. The Analyst will serve as an industry generalist, leading their own names. overseeing due diligence and sitting on the committees for their deals. The Analyst should be able to generate investment ideas.
Top candidates should come from one of two backgrounds: Senior Associate or VP in the Restructuring Advisory Group of a major investment bank or independent advisory firm with outstanding modeling, analytical and communication skills and extensive experience working on corporate restructurings. The role requires the ability to run an in-depth due diligence process independently. While there is a preference for previous exposure to creditor advisory, it is not required. Alternatively, the fund would consider a distressed investment analyst with 5-8 years of experience with a reputable credit or distressed fund. The experienced analyst should be able to identify potential investment ideas, lead the due diligence process, and participate on relevant creditor committees. The analyst should have some relationships within the advisory community and an interest in building more. This is a unique opportunity to join a stable but growing team.
