Our client, an established $10B fund, located in New York, would like to add an Investor Relations Specialist to their growing Capital Formation team. The fund takes a value approach to investing in global liquid and illiquid, public, and private credit markets. This position will serve as the liaison between the fund and their investors and facilitate client updates and responses to information requests. The role includes supporting all client communications including investor reporting, RFP and DDQ fulfillment. The IR Specialist will collaborate with the firm’s leadership and investment team to enable seamless communication with clients about the firm strategy and portfolio composition. The role includes leading the firm’s CRM strategy and oversight. The IR Specialist will coordinate different business units of the firm, operations, compliance, and legal, to meet clients’ needs.
Qualified candidates need 3-7 years of current experience in an investor relations role with an institutional credit fund. The role requires experience and understanding of credit markets and the ability to convert complex financial information into understandable text. The role requires someone with outstanding interpersonal and networking skills along with strong verbal and written communications skills. Candidates will maintain best practices and analyze and improve the investor relations function. The role requires expertise with CRM systems. Candidates should be intellectually curious and collaborative, with outstanding organizational and leadership skills. Base salary will be $150,000 to $175,000.
