INVESTOR RELATIONS ASSOCIATE, PRIVATE CREDIT FUND
Our client, a $2B+ fund with offices in New York City and Santa Monica, is expanding their investor relations team in New York. The fund invests in non-sponsor loans and acquisitions of distinct assets for middle and lower middle market companies. The firm specializes in the primary origination, underwriting, structuring and management of its investments. Through an established process and highly developed operational platform, the fund partners with institutional investors to offer differentiated access to middle market credit and distinct asset acquisitions. The fund’s investor base includes institutional and separately managed accounts.
The Investor Relations Associate will report to the Director of Investor Relations and work closely with the CFO and operations/reporting team. The role includes, but is not limited to, organizing investor meetings and marketing events, helping with the RFP and DDQ fulfillment processes, updating the firm’s investor presentations, marketing collateral and performance reports, managing the content of website and social media portals and maintaining the CRM system and portfolio reporting system.
Qualified candidates should have 1-3 years of experience, preferably in an investor relations role at an investment firm. Working knowledge of Backstop CRM Software and iLevel Portfolio Reporting Software is a plus. The strongest candidates will possess an understanding of financial reporting and performance statistics. The Investor Relations Associate must be a self-starter, intellectually curious, and highly organized, possessing strong project management and time management skills. The fund needs someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a team-oriented work style.
