Investment Analyst, Special Situations Fund
Our client runs a value-oriented, catalyst-driven, sector agnostic fund that invests mainly in equity, but also in credit to a lesser degree. The fund invests in events including spinoffs, transformative acquisitions, speculative M&A, but not merger arbitrage. The PM would like to add an Investment Analyst with 2-5 years of direct fundamental public equity investment experience. Some exposure to credit investing would be a plus. The analyst should have strong fundamental research experience, outstanding modeling skills and the ability to do deep due diligence including channel checks and consultant and management calls. Some experience with shorting is desirable but not required. The ability to generate investment ideas would be helpful but not necessary. The fund is part of a larger multi-strategy fund with a collaborative and collegial culture, which encourages communication and career growth. Qualified candidates may forward a resume to our website. All inquiries will be treated confidentially.
Please note: You only need to submit your resume once. You will be considered for all open positions. Do not submit your resume to other jobs after submitting once.
