Investment Analyst, Hedge Fund
Our client, a highly successful $500 million hedge fund in Midtown NYC, would like to add an analyst with 2-8 years of experience to their team as a sector and strategy generalist. The fund has an unconstrained mandate to invest opportunistically across the capital structure and anywhere in the world. They make concentrated alpha long and short investments in mispriced public securities across industries, geographies and the capital structure. The Analyst will work directly for the PM and will receive a high degree of mentorship and exposure to a wide variety of investments. The team is small relative to AUM and operates in a collegial and collaborative fashion. Returns have been outstanding.
This is a role for an investment analyst who loves to invest in public markets. The candidate should have a track record of academic and professional success. The Analyst should be extremely smart, tenacious and creative with a palpable passion for public market investing. The Analyst must have deep intellectual curiosity, a high level of self-motivation, a desire to work hard and a competitive nature. The role requires the Analyst to be a quick study and an avid and detailed reader. The Analyst must have the ability to connect and maintain good relationships with management teams. Qualified candidates may submit a resume, along with undergraduate GPA and SAT (broken out) / ACT scores, to our website. All inquiries will be treated confidentially.
Please note: You only need to submit your resume once. You will be considered for all open positions. Do not submit your resume to other jobs after submitting once.
