Investment Analyst, Equity Hedge Fund
Our client, an out-performing fund with locked up capital, would like to add a Research Analyst to their rapidly growing business. The fund runs a concentrated long and short book with a 1-3 year investment horizon. They have a flexible mandate but they have a strong equity-bias. The Investment Analysts will work closely with the senior staff on deep analysis of names generated by the senior team and will receive extensive mentoring. This is a career track position and top-performing Analysts will have the opportunity to grow into fund partners. Analysts will divide their time between NY and Greenwich locations.
The strongest candidates have 3-4 years of total work experience should include an Investment Banking Analyst program of a leading investment banking firm plus 1-2 years of experience in a private equity, hedge fund or investment management. Alternatively, an investment analyst who joined the buyside directly out of college and has 3-4 years of experience would also be appropriate. Candidates must have outstanding financial modeling skills, deep intellectual curiosity and scrupulous attention to detail, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Candidates should have a track record of both academic and professional success, including a bachelor’s degree from a top tier college or university. All qualified candidates may forward a resume, along with undergraduate GPA and SAT (broken out) or ACT scores, to our website. All inquiries will be treated confidentially.
Please note: You only need to submit your resume once. You will be considered for all open positions. Do not submit your resume to other jobs after submitting once.
