23. Investment Analyst, Distressed Credit Fund (Greenwich, CT area)

Our client is a rapidly growing ($1B+AUM) distressed credit fund manager in the Greenwich area. They have a small team of highly regarded senior investment professionals. They would like to add an Analyst to work directly with their veteran investors.  The fund focuses on a variety of strategies including cross capital structure, public credit, mispriced stressed credits, idiosyncratic situations, misunderstood performing credit, litigation and process-driven distressed and restructurings. The senior team has extensive experience mentoring and developing talent.  The strongest candidates have 4-6 years of experience including a Banking Analyst program or similar role, preferably in Restructuring Advisory, Leveraged Finance or M&A. The team would also like the candidate to have another 2-4 years of experience in private equity, credit investing, distressed or a related investment strategy or as an Associate banker in Restructuring. They will consider a 2023 MBA with directly relevant earlier experience. Candidates should have outstanding modeling and financial analysis skills, excellent critical reading ability, and a keen intellectual curiosity. Candidate must also communicate effectively. The staff’s collegiality is readily apparent, and they would like to find an analyst who will enjoy the work and the team.  We encourage women and diversity candidates to apply. Qualified candidates may forward a resume, along with their undergraduate GPA and SAT (broken out) or ACT scores, to our website.  All inquiries will be treated confidentially.
