Distressed Credit Analyst, Hedge Fund
This Midtown-based multi-billion fund takes an activist role in distressed investments using both legal and financial due diligence. They are looking for additional analysts for their team. The fund would like to add individuals who are completing the second or third year of an analyst program in investment banking or the equivalent program with a buyside team. Candidates must have strong financial modeling and accounting as well as critical reading skills. To be successful, the analyst should be detail-oriented and intellectually curious.
This is a career track position with highly competitive compensation in the short term and equity participation over the longer term. Highly qualified candidates must have a quantifiable track record of success as measured by an SAT of 1400 or better or an ACT score of 30 or better and an undergraduate GPA over 3.5/4.0 from a top college or university.
