Our client, a global investment fund, would like to add an Associate to their co-investment team. The team evaluates mainly private equity co-investment and secondary opportunities and the managers involved. The Associate will develop financial models for new investments, drive improvements in due diligence, monitor existing investments and create memos to present to the Investment Committee. The fund focuses on promoting from within, providing an eventual path to portfolio manager for those who are interested.
Candidates need two years of investment banking and/or buyside private markets coinvest or secondaries experience. Candidates need strong modeling and presentation skills, as well as outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. The fund has a distinctly team- oriented and collegial culture so candidates need to function well with that work style. Base salary ranges from $125,000-$150,000 depending on seniority.
