ASSOCIATE, OPPORTUNISTIC INVESTMENTS, MULTI-FAMILY OFFICE (New York or San Francisco)

The NY or SF office of a multi-family investment fund would like to find a creative Analyst for their discretionary, opportunity fund. The role involves direct investing in opportunistic and esoteric credit, real estate, real assets and special situations, along with co-investments, secondary investments and strategic allocations to investment funds.  This career-track role will focus on driving, evaluating, and monitoring new and existing investments, including financial modeling, proprietary research, supporting idea generation, and creating investment memos for presentation to the IC.  The investor will collaborate with other investment and operations teams within the organization. Top candidates have 1-5 years of total experience in PE, private credit, hedge funds or investment banking. In addition to strong financial modeling and analysis skills and fluency in Excel, the ideal candidate displays a passion for investing, and outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills.  Strong verbal and written communications skills are also required. A humble demeanor, demonstrable creativity and a team-oriented approach to work will fit well within the team. The fund is looking for someone who has a track record of professional and academic success.  Salary range is $95,000 to $150,000.
