ANALYST/ASSOCIATE, PUBLIC MARKETS CREDIT INVESTING

Our client, an institutional credit fund in Midtown Manhattan, would like to add an Analyst/Associate credit analyst to their collegial and collaborative team. The credit analyst will do in-depth research as a generalist for the firm’s two hedge funds and the CLO portfolios, working closely with senior analysts, traders and directly with the PMs. The credit analyst will learn to source, vet, model, and own risk in consultation with the senior team and over time, will transition to presenting their own ideas to the IC. Ideas can be self-generated or in response to thesis or strategy goals of the team. The research team sits together with the PMs and shares ideas and collaborates to create strong returns for the book.

Top candidates will soon complete 1-3 years of an Investment Banking Analyst program in Leveraged Finance, Restructuring or a related field. The candidate may alternatively sit in a Jr. Analyst role on the desk or at a credit fund. The credit analyst should have strong financial modeling skills, the ability to conduct due diligence, and strong written and verbal communications skills. Our client is looking for a team player who loves public markets and has a strong interest in moving to the buyside in credit. Previous incumbents have received promotions to new roles and there is an internal commitment to developing talent. Qualified candidates may forward a resume along with undergraduate GPA to our website. All inquiries will be treated confidentially.

Please note: You only need to submit your resume once. You will be considered for all open positions. Do not submit your resume to other jobs after submitting once.
