52. Investment Analyst, Multi-Strategy Hedge Fund

Our client, an established NY-based multibillion dollar hedge fund with a flexible investment mandate, would like to add an Investment Analyst to join their team. The fund takes a value approach to investing in the global, liquid, and illiquid public and private credit and equity markets. The Analyst should have 3-5 years (2018-2020 grads) of total experience that includes investment banking and buy side experience in private equity, non-sponsor private credit or a value credit hedge fund. They will not consider any MBAs or long/short equity backgrounds. The strongest candidates have fundamental analytical abilities including exceptional financial modeling, accounting, and valuation skills, and experience developing a thoughtful investment thesis. The role requires a self-starter and team player who can demonstrate both the ability to learn quickly and a passion for investing. The base salary is $150,000.
