41. Investment Analyst, Hedge Fund

Our client, a NY-based multi-billion dollar hedge fund with a flexible investment mandate, would like to add a Mid-Level Analyst to join their team. The fund takes a value approach to investing in the global, liquid, and illiquid public, private and special situations markets with an emphasis on credit investments across the capital structure. The role requires a flexible investment approach to take advantage of an evolving investment landscape. The strongest candidates have 8 to 12 years of experience including a mix of investment banking and distressed or special situations investing experience in the public and private markets. Candidates need an ability to analyze complex structures, construct and articulate investment ideas, and assess risk/reward across a multitude of industries. Candidates should be thoughtful, detail oriented and intellectually curious with strong communication, organizational and problem- solving skills. The team is small relative to AUM creating growth opportunities and the chance to take on significant responsibility.
