159. Associate, Hybrid Capital Solutions

Our client is a new and growing NY based fund that provides hybrid capital solutions to middle-market business owners, founders, and entrepreneurs to meet their needs for liquidity, growth and continuity. Transaction types include growth capital, acquisition financing, management buyouts, minority recaps, replacement capital, failed M&A process, succession-based planning, stretch leverage and sponsor bridge to sale. Our client is seeking an Associate with 3-6 years of total experience including investment banking and buy side experience from a fund focused on complex debt/equity-like investments and/or junior capital. Our client will also consider candidates from a top tier growth/buyout private equity fund who have exposure to junior capital investments. The role requires rigorous fundamental underwriting and financial modeling skills as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates must have the desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment with active deal flow where everyone works below and above their level to successfully close new investments. The role has potential for significant upside trajectory. Our client will not consider MBAs.  Candidates should have a track record of professional success including a strong academic background from a major college or university.
